Every perfume starts with an idea, a feeling, a person or a moment that stays with us. Flowers, woods, roots, resins and spices then give it form before it reaches the skin.
At 528 UNDERGROUND, sound is part of the composition. Our 528 Hz ritual brings frequency and intention to every perfume we make.
WHAT IS 528 HZ?
Often called the Love Frequency, 528 Hz is associated with harmony, transformation and connection.
For us, it sits between what can be measured and what can be felt. It is not a treatment or a promise of healing. It is a creative ritual and the sound of intention behind every perfume we make.
WHY 528 UNDERGROUND?
The name holds both sides of who we are.
528 is love, connection and the frequency within our creative ritual.
UNDERGROUND is independence, instinct and the freedom to take our own route.
Together, they hold the tension at the centre of the brand: energy and earth, love and freedom, the invisible and the physical. Perfume lives there too. You cannot see it, but it can shift a room, return a memory or change the way you carry yourself.
OUR 528 HZ RITUAL
Every 528 UNDERGROUND perfume is handcrafted in small batches in the south of France. From first blend to final rest, each composition is surrounded by music tuned to 528 Hz. Raw materials, time, human touch and sound.
This is where process becomes ritual. We stop, listen and reconnect with the intention behind what we are making. Eventually, the perfume leaves our hands and enters somebody else’s life, their skin, their nights, their memories. We make it accordingly.
INTENTION, NOT PERFECTION
Ritual does not make something perfect. It makes us present. 528 Hz will not change your life and that's not the point. It marks the intention behind every decision, from the materials and people we work with to the small batches we produce and the time each composition is given. The frequency gives our intention a sound. What the perfume becomes on your skin is entirely your own.
SOMETHING YOU FEEL
Perfume is memory without language. Identity without explanation. A private signal sent from the skin into the world. The 528 Hz ritual belongs to that unseen side of fragrance. You do not need to rationalise it or listen for it. Wear the perfume and notice your response. Perhaps something shifts. Perhaps you simply love how it smells. That is enough.
528 is the frequency. UNDERGROUND is the attitude. The perfume is where they meet.
WHERE FEELING BECOMES VISIBLE
What if your response to perfume could be seen? This is where our exploration began.
Using an aura-imaging system, we take a baseline reading before introducing each fragrance individually and observing what appears to change. We began by asking whether particular perfumes might be associated with different energetic responses like grounding, opening or energising.
You can also bring an intention of your own. Perhaps you are looking for confidence, creativity or something entirely personal. We then compare the visual readings to explore how your energy appears to respond to each fragrance.
This is not about diagnosis. We are simply curious about what happens when scent, energy and perception meet and whether the machine catches something we can already feel.
